The very first Elorde Boxing Gym was established in 1974 by the legendary Gabriel
“Flash” Elorde. Since then, it has stood as one of the premier boxing stables in the
Philippines, producing numerous champions over the decades.
Thirty years later, Maria Laurita “Cucuy” Elorde, the youngest daughter of the Flash,
opened a gym in Gilmore, Quezon City—marking the beginning of a new chapter for
Elorde Boxing Gym. This first modern branch paved the way for a network of gyms
that catered not only to professional fighters, but also to casual fitness enthusiasts
seeking a challenging yet enjoyable workout.
What was once the exclusive domain of professional boxers has evolved into a
widely embraced form of exercise among Filipinos. Today, Elorde Boxing Gym offers
a variety of programs, including boxing fitness, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, HighIntensity Interval Training (HIIT), and strength training, all of which have gained
strong popularity among its clients.
With over 20 locations across the Philippines, Elorde Boxing Gym remains steadfast
